On Monday night a plethora of amazing eats were provided by some local companies in their traveling kitchens. Lots of different trucks that ranged from delicious barbeque to fried sweet treats. I traveled around the bus loop to catch up with some people and see what they were grubbing on.
I bumped into some people from the news team Ava and Vada and they were getting a panini and a pulled pork sandwich from the Grizzly Mountain Grill. They also purchased the fries and said they were “delicious.” After that I made sure to get something for myself and headed over to Pizza Hotline for a slice of cheese pizza. It was a great temperature and a great ratio of sauce to cheese.
If you were looking for something more refreshing that afternoon you could head over to Lucky Dog Ice, which had a variety of flavors and sizes of cups. It was a great selection for a quick crunchy, cold dessert. They also had some popular names in our community such as Slim Chickens and OTP which both provided some delicious chicken selections. Many boys lacrosse players attended as well as alumni such as Anderson Loesch to get some delicious wings.
All in all the smells and flavors of the wonderful food trucks was a great way to spend a Monday afternoon. The people and the amazing workers who brought the food along.
