If you like to spend time outdoors, you’re in luck! The corn maze at Bowles Farm is a ton of fun- it’s perfect for all ages, and really captures the spirit of fall. Not only does the farm contain a corn maze-it also has a petting zoo, pumpkin patch, hay ride, and cupcake shop! With never-ending fun to have, Bowles Farm is definitely the place to be in the fall season.
Every year, the Bowles Farm designs the corn maze in a different shape. This year it was in honor of the 100th year anniversary of St. Mary’s Hospital. The corn maze has two different “phases.” The first phase is longer, and goes through about three-quarters of the field, while the second phase is shorter, and only takes up about one-quarter of the field. Senior Callie Brown stated, “I had so much fun at the corn maze this year! We got lost a few times in the field, but it was totally worth it!”
The petting zoo is tons of fun as well! It consists of chickens, rabbits, goats, sheep, and pigs. The animals are super friendly and love the attention people give. In addition to the petting zoo, there is a pumpkin patch. There are hundreds of pumpkins for people to choose from, so if you and your family need pumpkins, this is the place for you!
If you get hungry while walking in the corn maze, stop by the Farmer’s Daughter Bakery. They have delicious cupcakes in various flavors and wonderful homemade pumpkin pie.
The corn maze is great for people of all ages. Adults, teenagers, and children will all enjoy this fall fun!
